Insights from the Global South for the Revision of the Guide for Transboundary Research Partnerships
The GRP-Alliance is revising its “Guide for Transboundary Research Partnerships”. Insights from scholars from the Global South play a vital role in this process. This report consolidates feedback and recommendations on the revision of the Guide by five long-standing partners of CDE from Africa and South-East Asia. Strengthening global partnerships and professional competence through international internships and applied research programs Our latest publication, developed in collaboration with BFH-HAFL, examines how preparation, support, and feedback shape long-term impact when programs integrate experiential learning, equity, and systemic co-creation. Based on the experiences of more than 40 students and 15 institutions worldwide, the study shows that meaningful engagement, inclusive design, and co-leadership are essential for enhancing intercultural learning and building sustainable collaborations across borders.
