Science on Stage Festival 2026: Switzerland is ready

Klaipeda, 28-31.05.2026: Switzerland will be represented by a delegation of 11 people who will present four projects (three projects in the ‘STEM for the Youngest’ category and one project in the ‘Low-cost experiments in STEM Education’ category). Science on Stage Switzerland will be organising free workshops for teachers in the different language regions towards the end of 2026 to share the festival experience and showcase some of the projects discovered during the event.

How the European Science on Stage festival makes a difference

From 12 to 15 August 2024, more than 500 STEM teachers from across Europe gathered in Turku, Finland, to explore innovative teaching materials and concepts, exchange ideas, and gain fresh inspiration for their classrooms. What lasting impact did it have on the teaching practice of the participants?

Apply for Engineering Grants

Thanks to Science on Stage Germany, grants of up to €300 are available per event to support workshops, seminars, and other training activities that enhance teachers’ engineering education skills. The supported events should encourage educators to bring real-world engineering, creative problem-solving, and design thinking into their classrooms. Schools and individual STEM teachers from Science on Stage member countries can apply. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the end of 2026.
