New SOR4D call for proposals

The Solution-oriented Research for Development Programme (SOR4D), a joint funding instrument of SDC and SNF, has launched its new call for proposals. SOR4D supports researchers from Switzerland in developing concrete innovative solutions for global challenges, together with researchers and practice partners from partner countries in the Global South. The programme is open to all disciplines. The deadline for submitting pre-proposals is May 18, 2025, 5 pm Swiss local time. More information

Funding for global partnerships in Horizon Europe
The renewed association of Switzerland with Horizon Europe enables Swiss-based entities to coordinate projects as full beneficiaries. “Euresearch" has compiled an overview of calls for Global Research Partnerships in Horizon Europe. 

 
 
 
 
 
 

Joint Research Projects Switzerland-India
The SNSF, together with its Indian partners, is launching three calls for Joint Research Projects (JRPs) at the beginning of 2026: The call for joint geoscientific research on mountain hazards (deadline 8 April), the call for research projects in social sciences (deadline 8 April) and the call for joint research projects in the field of One Health (deadline 5 May). 

 
 
 
 
 
 

Leading House Asia Pacific Funding Call 
The call welcomes applications from Swiss-based researchers to collaborate with research, policy or innovation partners in any of the Asia-Pacific countries that form part of the Leading House mandate. The call offers two funding lines, a Scientific Collaboration Fund and a Mobility Fund. Apply by March 8 2026

 
 
 
 
 
 

Leading House MENA: Communication, Dissemination & Engagement Grants 2026

Leading House Latin America Early Career Grant 
Specifically aimed at PhDs and Post-Docs, the grant can fund a research stay in Latin America of up to three months, thereby fostering the integration of the next generation of scientists in international collaboration. Apply by March 6 2026

 
 
 
 
 
 

REPIC project funding
Projects in the field of Renewable Energy, Energy and Resource Efficiency Promotion in Developing and Transition Countries can apply for funding by REPIC. The next submission deadline is 20 March 2026
